About
Supertechtips was started late 2006 and was originally intended to be my personal notes website - where I post solutions to problems me and my clients have encountered.
It was first based off a pure static only website, where I had to code everything using the venerable Notepad. After that, Supertechtips was coded with a combination of HTML and SSI, which explains why there are still pages with the .shtml extension lying around.
As you might have noticed when you read the posts here, that technical jargon has been kept to a minimum - to make everything here easy to understand.
All articles I have written since I started this humble website is grouped into categories to make it easier for you to find your way around and quickly find what you’re looking for.
As you may have noticed, the site is really bare – no fancy designs or anything. The decision to strip this website of too many bells and whistles came when some of the visitors complained of slow page load times.
About Me
My name is Hamilton. I have been helping people deal with computer problems since 2000. I am confident in my skills in troubleshooting and fixing computer problems. As a network administrator, I am in-charge of making sure that the company network run efficiently and reliably. This includes setting policies to user accounts, managing network traffic (keeping user visits limited to websites that the company allows) and more.
Most of my time is spent helping clients get rid of problems that they are having with their PCs. Although keeping up with the demand is getting a little harder because of time constraints, I still keep it a point to answer emails and do house calls.
